Chris's tone is, as per usual, casual and laid back. He has, as he always had and likely always will, the faintest hint of an accent, "th" coming out like "d" and the like. Although he's a francophone currently coming from Paris, he sure as hell doesn't sound like a Frenchman from Pair-ee, and he's glad for it. Parisians are assholes.
Salut, mes amis! The Amazing Cavalieri's - or should I say, L'étonnant Cavalieri's - tour of France was great. Sold-out houses everywhere I went, and the kids in Paris were begging me not to leave.
This is a lie.
But leave I did. I'm on the train to London right now, and I'll be there in a little over an hour. That's just enough time for someone from Rousham House to come pick me up.
Hint, hint. |
